  1. Given the limited amount of time that these three children spent in day care, as well as the environment in which they lived, do you think their participation in this program had any sustained impact on their development?
     
  2. What impact, if any, do you think the program had on the children's families?
     
  3. What do you think were among the most important aspects of the program described in the case study?
     
  4. Suppose you were responsible for setting up early intervention services for homeless children and their families in a large city. Develop a draft proposal of your project that includes:
     
    • Project objectives: what you anticipate your project will accomplish
       
    • Project methods: the types of services you would make available for children and their families as well as a brief rationale for your decisions
       
    • Project evaluation: how you would measure or otherwise determine the effectiveness of your project.
